The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern
Some owners may comment the Center Seat (Armrest) Accessory Power Outlet (X80E) is inoperative. This power outlet is operational when the ignition is turned to either the run or the accessory positions. If the power outlet is inoperative in the run or accessory positions inspect the F1DR fuse (15 amp), located in the right I/P fuse block, for being blown.
Recommendation/Instructions
If the fuse is blown inspect for a short to ground on circuit 850 near the left pivot for the center seat armrest, as shown below. If the circuit is shorted repair as necessary and protect the harness so it does not reoccur.

For wiring repairs covered under warranty, please refer to latest version of bulletin 10-00-89-005 for warranty information on wire/connector repairs.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
