Condition
Some customers may comment on a “whistle” or “hoot/woot” noise after the vehicle has been parked outside in ambient temperatures of −3.8°C (25°F) or below and most noticeable when AWD is engaged.
This noise might go away shortly after the vehicle has been warmed up/driven or if the ambient temperatures increase.
Cause
The cause of the condition may be the rear center propeller shaft bearing.
Correction
A new propeller shaft has been released to address this noise concern.
