| Condition: | Squeak or rattle noise from the rear of the vehicle over bumps / washboard thought to be from the leaf springs. |
| Cause: | This noise can be caused by the rear brake pads shifting . |
Correction:
Before servicing the leaf springs move the chassis ears to the rear brake backing plates. If the noise is isolated there, remove the rear brake pads and apply grease or anti- squeak compound to the rear of the pads and reevaluate. Engineering is investigating this concern if there is new information this PI will be updated.
