Condition Some customers may comment on a squeak, buzz and/or rubbing noise coming from the
steering column area.
Cause This condition may be due to the inner and/or outer intermediate steering shaft boots
(seals) being out of position.

Inspect the intermediate steering shaft inner and outer
boots (seal) for being out of position as shown above. If
the boots are out of position, use a flat trim stick to
properly seat the boots.
