The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition / Concern
The customer may note a water rush or gurgle type noise from the center dash area.
The technician may isolate this noise to the heater core caused by air in the cooling system.
This can be caused by air ingestion in the cooling system. This is under evaluation by engineering.
Recommendations / Instructions
Pending release of new surge bottle.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
