I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado that is still under warranty with the same issue. The dealer replaced the right leaf spring and the clunk was still there, so they ordered the left leaf spring and installed it and yes, the clunk was still there. So they used some “electric grease” and re-torqued everything and yes, the clunk is still there. I’ve made two calls to the dealer and left voicemails, one of them being the service manager and can’t get them to return my call. I’m frustrated and I don’t know what to do either but Koon’s of White Marsh MD is not “wowing me”.
I put 60 mil roofing rubber between the top two leaf springs and it is gone
Have a 2016 GMC Sierra. Rear suspension clunking. Been in dealer twice to re-torque everything. Has NOT helped. Dealer has no idea how to fix. Truck is under warranty. Cannot believe they do not know what to do. Please help !!!! Have never owned a new or a gm product. Saved for years to purchase this 70 000 $ pickup. Don’t know what to do
