Condition
Some customers may comment that the power folding mirrors do not fold at the same speed.
Cause
The cause of the condition may be that the power folding mechanism run at the same speed on both sides of the vehicle, but the passenger side closes faster because it has less distance to travel.
Correction
Important: Do not replace the mirrors for this concern.
Please communicate to the customer that this is a normal operating characteristic of power fold mirrors, and the mirror system is functioning as designed. Please share this information with the customer, including a copy of this message.
