Condition
The purpose of this bulletin is to inform dealership personnel that a new power brake booster vacuum cap will need to be replaced when installing the revised power brake booster vacuum pipe.
Technicians may find one or more of the following DTCs set:
- C025E – Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor Circuit
- C0299 – Brake Booster Large Vacuum Leak Detected
- P050F – Brake Booster Weak Vacuum
- P0556 – Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Performance
- P0557 – Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
- P0558 – Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Circuit High Voltage
- P0561 – System Voltage Performance

This condition may be caused by the routing of the original power brake booster vacuum pipe from the factory.
