This Preliminary information communicates information on correcting a rattle noise on driver side of cowl heat shield.
Condition
Some customers may comment on a rattle noise from the driver side dash area in park at idle or while driving.
Cause
The retainer clips that hold the Exhaust Front Underbody Heat Shield may have become loose, shown below.
Correction:
Remove existing retainer clips and replace with updated retainer clip P/N 13232779 and tighten by hand until heat shield is secured into position.
