Summary
This Preliminary information communicates to the dealer if the lane keep assist and forward collision alert are inoperative, both indicators may be flashing on and off while driving. When pressing button to turn on the lane keep assist they receive a message stating the system is not available. If the above conditions are met to verify that all of the tires are the correct size as per vehicle build. If an incorrect tire side if found on the vehicle it will cause a wheel speed discrepancy on straight road travel that will disable all driver assistance (Front Camera Module) systems relying on wheel speed sensor data inputs.

Condition
Lane keep assist (LKA) and forward collision alert (FCA) systems are inoperative. While driving they might notice the lane keep assist (LKA) and vehicle detection icons will be flashing. “System unavailable” message will be displayed when pressing the Lane keep assist (LKA) button.
Cause
If a tire is replaced with a tire size that is different than (OEM) tires it will cause a wheel speed discrepancy on straight road travel that will disable all driver assistance (Front Camera Module) systems relying on wheel speed sensor data inputs.
