Information
The purpose of this bulletin is to:
• Verify that in extreme cold weather (-18°C or less / 0°F or less), a grille winter cover
needs be added to avoid the customer returning with concerns related to charge air
cooler icing.
• The customer must be educated by explaining the usage instructions from the
instruction sheet and/or owner manual. Review the installation and removal procedure
with the customer.
The winter grille cover should be included with the vehicle. If the winter grille cover is
missing at PDI, order the winter grille cover using the unique labor code provided in the
bulletin.
One time install of the winter grille cover is covered under warranty. This can be installed
and charged to the unique Labor Operation code provided in the bulletin up to 12 months
after delivery.
Important: The winter grille cover should be installed in the extreme cold weather and
removed when the winter season changes.
Additional covers and repeat installation are customer pay.
Note: Clean the surface before installing the winter grille cover.
