Information
The following information should be used to help adjust
the liftgate properly.
An improper liftgate adjustment may cause unwanted
noises, so proper adjustment is important.
To properly adjust the liftgate, complete the following
steps:
1. Open the liftgate.

2. Close the liftgate with a piece of paper between the
bumpers of the liftgate and the vehicle itself.
⇒ The paper should not be able to be pulled out,
and the bumpers should be firmly seated.
3. Repeat and verify as necessary.
