Condition Some customers may comment on a squeal noise from the front brakes during brake
apply.
Cause The cause of the condition may be the original two shim front pad brake system.
Correction Replace the front brake pads with the single shim pad kit listed in the Parts Information
below.
Service Procedure
If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern,
replace the front disc brake pads. Refer to Front Disc
Brake Pads Replacement in SI.
Note: Refinish rotors as necessary.
