Technical Assistance Center part restriction on the front and rear axle assemblies (RPOs SU5 and SU8) for the 2019 Chevy
Silverado 1500 (New Model) and 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 (New Model) has ended.
We would like to thank all dealers who participated in this restriction for their cooperation.
These Axle assemblies can now be repaired ordering parts through the regular GM CCA parts process and
utilizing repair procedures covered in Service Information.
Use the vehicle identification number (VIN), SI, and the GM Electronic Parts Catalog to determine the correct parts to order to perform the repairs as needed.

NOTE: If a P1 vibration was noticed check the rear prop shaft and rear axle flange and verify that the paint dots on both parts are lined up. If not re index the prop shaft and verify the concern still exists.

Pictures labeled 1 and 2 below show the tag location on the front differential. Item 2 is near the actuator.
Rear Axle tag location is inboard side of the left hand shock bracket.
