This preliminary informational bulletin provides technicians information on resetting the change transmission fluid message on Driver Information Center (DIC) after changing the transmission fluid.
When the Change Transmission Fluid message is displayed on the DIC, and after changing the transmission fluid, there is no process to reset the oil life monitor to zero and turn the message off.
Software in the TECH2 for the Saturn application does not have a transmission oil life reset feature.
Work around procedure with a TECH2 to reset the transmission oil life monitor.
