Condition: Grinding noise on brake apply cold that dissipates after a few
stops.
Cause: New no copper pad composition.
Engineering is investigating this concern and working towards a resolution. Replacing pads
will not eliminate this concern for the long term. Deglazing the pads and rotors does help the
concern in the short term. This PI will be removed and a bulletin released when the field fix
is available.
