Condition Some dealership technicians may question the installation of the rear spoiler on the
Corvette ZR1 during the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI).
This rear spoiler (in both street and track configurations) is attached to the vehicle using unique
Concern
fasteners. The vehicle is not shipped with the special bit that is needed to attach this spoiler
to the vehicle. The technician performing the PDI will be required to obtain the appropriate bit
to complete the installation.
Correction:
Please refer to the “Special Inspection Items” box at the bottom of the Pre-Delivery Inspection
Form for this vehicle. In this box, it refers the servicing technician to the July 2018 Techlink
for further information on this bit. In this Techlink edition, the information can be found by
searching the article titled, “2019 Corvette ZR1 Ground Effects Installation”.
