| Condition | Some customers may comment that the Service Side Detection message is displayed on the DIC.
Some customers may also comment that the side mirror indicators are either never illuminate or are always illuminated. |
| Cause | This condition may be caused by water entering the wiring harness and side object sensing alert modules during thermal cycles. |
| Correction | If water and/or corrosion has been validated in the wiring harness and/or the side object sensing alert modules, both the harness and modules (LH and RH) need to be replaced. |
