information on Installation of Stage One and Two Rear Wicker Bills on Spoiler
During the installation of the rear wicker bills that are fastened on the rear spoiler, some technicians may revert to the use of power tools to tighten the fasteners.
The use of power tools should not be used due to the fact that this could lead to damage to the fasteners and/or the spoiler.
When installing the wicker bills onto the vehicle, it is recommended to hand start the fasteners before using the correct hand tools to torque the fasteners to the proper torque specifications.

Bulletin No.: PI1478A Date: Dec-2015 Subject: Information on Installation of Stage One and Two Rear Wicker Bills on Spoiler Models: 2015-2016 Chevrolet Corvette Equipped with RPO CFV or CFZ Attention: This PI also applies to any of the above models that may be Europe, Japan and Middle East Export vehicles. This PI has been revised to add the 2016 Model Year. Please discard PI1478. During the installation of the rear wicker bills that are fastened on the rear spoiler, some technicians may revert to the use of power tools to tighten the fasteners. 1 The use of power tools should not be used due to the fact that this could lead to damage to the fasteners and/or the spoiler. When installing the wicker bills onto the vehicle, it is recommended to hand start the fasteners before using the correct hand tools to torque the fasteners to the proper torque specifications. Damage to the fasteners or the spoiler should not be submitted under warranty as the parts are dealer installed components during the pre-delivery process.
