Stop/Start System Malfunction, DTS P1064, P1065, P1068, P1070, P108D, P108R, or P1091 Set – Equipped with Stop/Start System (RPO KL9)

Condition/Concern

Some customers may comment that the message “Stop/Start System Disabled” appears on the DIC.

There may be a poor ground terminal connection at G400.

Recommendation/Instructions

Disconnect the 12V battery negative cable. Inspect and remove any paint on the G400 ground stud and check the ground nut for proper torque. If no issues are found, continue with service information (SI) diagnostics.
