Bulletin No.: PIP5821 Published date: 08/27/2021 Preliminary Information PIP5821 M1L Transmission Filter Investigation Models Brand: Chevrolet Model: Corvette Model Years: 2020 – 2021 VIN: from to All All Engine: LT2 M1L Transmissions: involved Region or Country Condition Cause U.S. Only 7500 mile maintenance transmission cartridge filter replacement Engineering is attempting to get filters returned for inspection. If the vehicle comes in for the first scheduled maintenance at 7500 miles or within the first year of ownership for this maintenance, please carefully remove the filter and do not drain the filter by turning upside down. Do not allow filter to contact foreign surface (oil drain pan) before placing into the bag. Double bag the cartridge filter from the transmission. Tag it with vin and mileage. Once the claim is paid using labor operation 0600723 that will generate a parts return request so the filter can be returned to the warranty parts center.
