These articles are disturbing. We bought a gently used 2016 Enclave this year. Have wanted one since they came out in 2007/8 time frame. We were hoping the links had been worked out of them. Bought the car in Chattanooga TN and shortly after relocated to San Antonio TX. Admittingly I did not do much research on that car. We have rented the Traverse, Acadia, Outlook and Enclave when traveling and have loved driving them so we knew we wanted this SUV.

Just recently noticed wet carpet in the cargo box in the back behind the back seat any time it rains. Also, inside the vent to the left I was looking for a tire jack and found a disconnected white tube. I suppose it is part of the upper roof drainage that I’m reading about in above comments. So far no apparent sun roof issues but I am now concerned about automatic car washes.

We really enjoy the SUV but now I’m having second thought. Having left the city where I bought the car I am hoping the dealership here in San Antonio will cover whatever has to be fixed. Any comments or helpful advice anyone?

This sun roof is poorly designed at best. My daughter had a 2016 GMC Terrain and it would leak bad filled up cup holders, had it to two different dealers and they said they could not fix it. I found that the sunroof does not hold if you push down on the front of it and that allows water to pour in. GM did not stand behind it and the interior got wet to many times so she traded it. Very disappointed in GM
